CHANGE OF MIND POLICY DOES NOT APPLY TO SALE PERIODS (INCL. BLACK FRIDAY)
At BGT4X4, customer satisfaction is our priority. In addition to the consumer protections granted under Australian Consumer Law, we offer a 30-day change of mind return policy. Products must be unused and in their original, undamaged condition to qualify for a return. Any items that have been used, fitted, or altered in any way will not be accepted for return. Please email us on info@bgt4x4.com.au to initiate your return process.
Clearance sale products are not eligible for returns.
Change of Mind Returns:
- You may return your product due to a change of mind within 30 days of us dispatching your purchase to you, provided that it meets the return criteria (unused, and in its original, undamaged condition).
- Restocking Fee: A 15% restocking fee may apply to change of mind returns where stock that has not been dispatched from our Brisbane warehouse.
- In order to obtain a refund, you must first return the product(s) at your own cost. Please note, shipping fees are non-refundable.
- Under no circumstances will we issue a refund before we have received your product back at our premises and inspected it to confirm it is in unused and undamaged condition.
- Pre Order Cancellations: Items that aren't stocked in our Brisbane warehouse, get ordered from our suppliers almost immediately after you place your order. Due to this, if you wish to cancel an order that has already been ordered in for you, but has not yet been dispatched, a fee of 15% will still apply. This includes pre order items such as bull bars.
Refunds for Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Goods:
- If you receive a damaged, defective, or incorrect item, please contact us immediately to resolve the issue. Under Australian Consumer Law, you are entitled to a remedy, which may include a replacement, repair, or full refund.
- If you opt for a replacement instead of a refund, you are not eligible for a refund on the replaced products due to a change of mind. The 30-day return window applies from the original order date, not when you receive the replacement.
Refund Process:
- Refunds for change of mind returns will be processed to your credit card within 5-10 business days after approval.
- Refunds for damaged, defective, or incorrect goods will also be processed according to the applicable consumer protection laws under Australian Consumer Law.
Exchanges:
- For exchanges, return the original item first and place a new order for the item you want.
International Orders:
- For international returns, the return process must be initiated within 30 days of receiving your item. You are responsible for return shipping costs, and the product must comply with your country's customs regulations. BGT4X4 is not liable for any customs rejections.
Additional Terms:
- BGT4X4 is not responsible for any fitting or labor costs associated with your order.
- Promotions and discounts cannot be backdated. If you purchased items prior to a sale or promotion, you may return the items and reorder at the new sale price. The return policy applies as normal.
- Improper installation (e.g., installation without appropriate qualifications) voids warranties and refunds.
- If you have purchased a bundle and wish to return an item, you will need to return the complete bundle.
- Items sent back to us without first requested a refund via email will not be accepted.
- If you are returning an item, it is your responsibility to ensure that it is properly and safely packaged to avoid any damages during transit back to us. We will not accept any returns that have been damaged due to improper packaging.
- BGT4X4 is not responsible for any additional shipping fees incurred when delivery isn't accepted by the customer. If you are unable to accept your delivery and the delivery is subsequently returned to sender, you will be responsible for any additional shipping fees to reship the product to you or back to us. No shipping fees will be refunded. Please also be proactive in checking your tracking information supplied by us via email for the latest updates posted by the couriers.

We offer an optional transit insurance service that provides an immediate replacement if your order is damaged during shipping. Handling courier claims can be lengthy and frustrating, so this service allows us to take care of the claim for you and dispatch your replacement right away. To qualify, damage must be reported to us within 24 hours of delivery.
Coverage & Limitations:
- This service only applies to damage in transit. Other issues, including loss, theft, or missing items, are handled under standard consumer protections.
- This priority replacement service only applies to products shipped from our Brisbane HQ. Items shipped directly from suppliers (as indicated on product pages) are not eligible for immediate replacement.
- For orders containing multiple items, the service applies only to the damaged items covered by this optional insurance.
- You do not need to return the damaged item before receiving a replacement. We will advise if the damaged item needs to be returned, but your immediate replacement will be sent first.
- This service is optional and does not replace or limit your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. Even if the 24-hour window is missed, standard ACL guarantees (including the right to a repair, replacement, or refund), still apply.
Payment & Refund:
- The optional insurance fee is charged at checkout and is non-refundable once the order ships.
We offer a 30-day returns window for eligible unused items in their original condition.

Yes, we offer international shipping on most products excluding bulky items such as bull bars, exhuasts, suspension etc. BGT4X4 is not responsible for any import fees or duties.

Returns & Exchanges

Faulty products will be assessed under Australian Consumer Law and repaired, replaced or refunded if deemed defective.
