This Bonnet Strut Kit makes lifting and holding your bonnet simple and smooth, giving you easier access for maintenance or checks.

Designed for Mitsubishi Pajero NM, NP, NS, NT, NW, and NX models (2000–2021), it fits Gen 4 models with no modifications needed. For Gen 3 models, small holes will need to be drilled into the bonnet, contact us if you need more information.

Important fitment notes:

  • TJM Snorkel Owners: Only install the passenger-side strut, as the driver-side strut will hit the snorkel. The bonnet is light enough for one strut to hold.
  • Dual Battery Owners: Struts may interfere with battery terminals. One strut can still fully support the bonnet.
  • Bracket sides are shown in the product photos.

Please note:

  • During transport, brackets may rub and cause minor paint fade. We recommend having a small bottle of black spray paint handy for touch-ups if needed.

To qualify, items must be unused, uninstalled, and in their original, undamaged packaging. Once we receive and inspect your return, we’ll process a refund back to your original payment method.

Please note, return shipping is at your expense, and original shipping fees are non-refundable.

A 15% restocking fee may apply to select products that are not shipped from our Brisbane Warehouse.

  • BGT4X4 may offer longer warranty on select items sold under our own brand — this will be clearly outlined on the product page.
  • Products must be used as intended and kept in original condition to qualify for warranty claims.

  • Off-road misuse beyond product intent
  • Wear and tear, cosmetic marks or damage
  • Labour, freight, or removal/reinstallation costs
