Why replace the gear shifter sleeve?

The factory plastic sleeve commonly becomes brittle and breaks with age, which can cause the gear shifter to become stuck.

Our replacement sleeve is manufactured from aluminium, providing a long-lasting solution that won't suffer the same failure.

Why is the trim removal tool included?

Removing the centre console trim is much easier using the correct tools. The included trim removal kit helps prevent scratches and damage that can occur when using screwdrivers or other metal tools.

Good price and Works as advertised

I'm no mechanic, so I found this a little fiddly to install, but it's really simple enough for anyone to do it. Just be careful removing the transmission cover trim because some of the plastic is quite brittle now that the car is nearly 20 years old! Final product works as advertised and much, much cheaper than what the mechanics wanted to charge.

great upgrade to gearshift

Looks like a good upgrade unfortunately i have not fitted it yet as the original is screwed into the handle and am waiting on a new handle to fit this item the original plastic one has broken and the previuos owner rather than get a new one has screwed it into the handle which to me is dumb for the cost of this one once the new handle arrives i am sure i wont have to replace it again
