Centre Display Module for Mitsubishi Pajero NS-NX (2006 to 2021)

Installed on 2016 NX Pajero. Removal of the aircon vents and controller was pretty straight forward. My Pajero has the original head unit and so removing the surround that contains the display unit was fairly difficult as it all fits rather tight. You will definately need a more robust trim removal tool than those supplied. Took around 40 mins all up. I had to do the reset as explained in the video. Very happy with the results.

Very happy with how this works and the extra information displayed.
No 5 minute fitment for me though! I had never removed the centre console and was very nervous about doing so. I probably watched the video 10 times before and during the install, with many ‘almost’ moments as I extracted the vents and head unit. Two of the retaining clips broke completely, with a couple of others pinging off inside (just purchased some replacements off eBay so I suppose I’ll be going back for another visit).

I got this item as it looks factory (and it may be good). However, the factory head audio unit of an NX just did not release. I tried using as much force and possible, but then I stopped. There was a high risk of cracking the piano black trim or clips holding the unit in place. It was simply a matter of 'risk vs reward'.
Also take extra care when removing the air vents and pry cautiously and patiently. If the plastic clips break off, it means a change out of the air vent.
This is certainly not a '5 Min" job as advertised in the video. Maybe putting everything back.
I now have this item in a box and is of no use to me.

We have confirmed with other NX owners that the process is the same as in the instructional video. If you haven't done so, make sure the aircon controls are also clipped out as this is needed for the head unit to come loose. Brought 2 of these due to having 2x 2007 NS Pajero's.
Pro's:
Easy to install, pretty much plug and play.
Look good with plenty of needed info.
Cons:
You lose factory stereo display.
Cannot change stereo settings/tune radio/adjust sound settings with this installed.

I’m very pleased with the display module .5 minutes to install and works perfectly.i have purchased a few things from bgt4x4 and everything I’ve purchased fits exactly how it should, and there is still a couple of other things I will be purchasing in the future 👍

Fantastic bit of kit. Very easy to install. Had to do the reset as detailed in the video but again, very easy and straightforward. This also got my compass working again which is a feature that was lacking prior to this.
