Steel Side Steps for Mitsubishi Pajero NM-NX (2000–2021)
These steel side steps are praised for being "solid and fitted as described" with customers noting they "look fantastic." Steps look really good, nice and solid and wasn't too difficult to fit. Just a bit of a faff aligning everything. Only comment for improvement (which is why I'm giving 4*) is the fitting of the bracket itself to the underside of the step. The flat underside face of the step that the bracket bolts to was often not totally flush to the bracket face due to the welds sticking proud of the surface. This means that small amount of weld bead is taking the brunt of any forces rather than the load being spread over the bolted faces as intended. As this is a step and not designed to take massive massive impacts i am not too worried but i might put some thin rubber in there if i get a bored weekend in future. This is all it would take to even that load out, or grinding the welds back before painting would do too. Otherwise really happy

Fitted to a 2017 NX. Biggest challenge was removing the bolts from the original side steps as the front ones had rusted - lots of WD40 and a lot of force worked, broke 1 only. The supplied bolts do fit the existing retained nuts. The arrangment of the bolts may not be the same as on the video, but are obvious. The right angle brackets are sided and will only fit the side as marked - fit the middle braket first as it has less adjustment possible than the other two. The side steps are solid and look great when fitted.
