I have found the Ultra gauge to be excellent in that it gives lots of information on how my car is traveling. I can now tell beforehand if any part is starting to get excessively hot before it becomes a problem.
Looks good, plugs straight in. Gauges and functions are impressive and exactly what I am looking for. Programing is a nightmare. Instructions are very vague and unit is least intuitive thing I have tried to use in a long time. every time you bump the button on the back you end up in the menu and when you go back the screen is blank and you need to set the screen again. I am probably doing it wrong but there isn't much help on how to do it correctly. Instructions speak in generic terms where a beginner like me is not familiar with the terms or what that function does. I found a great tutorial on you tube on how to set up. Why the manufacturer doesn't post a tutorial themselves is beyond me. When I get time to set it up properly and set it in place I am sure it will be fantastic just frustrating process. Maybe 4x4 life can add one of their excellent videos not explaining the features but actually how to program and set alarms etc.

Can i mount ultraguage in an nw pajero without an extra mount? I have a torque converter lockup kit.
Hey Peter, you can use the Ultragauge together with a lockup kit no worries. You will just need to use your dual obd cable.
Hi mate, I recently bought the ultraguage and I have watched your tutorial on YouTube. My question is, is there any way of being able to tell when the dpf is initiating a burn with the ultraguage?
I’m hoping there is as I’m having issues with it not completing the burn because the car gets turned off during this process.

Hey Kenton, sadly the Ultragauge cannot read when there is a burn, I recommend checking the EGT temps/Cat and you'll notice it gets hot when dpf burn is taking place.
